Sydney Roosters veteran Michael Jennings will be joining the Vodafone Fiji Bati for the upcoming 2024 Pacific Championship. The 36-year-old center, who previously represented Tonga in the last Rugby League World Cup, adds a wealth of experience to the 21-member squad, which is currently missing several key players due to injuries.
Returning players for the Bati include Kevin Naiqama, Maika Sivo, Waqa Blake, Tui Kamikamica, and Viliame Kikau, alongside Premiership winner Sunia Turuva.
The Bati’s first match will take place next week, hosting the Papua New Guinea Kumuls on Saturday, October 19th, at HFC Bank Stadium, starting at 8:10 PM.
