A passenger was taken to Labasa Hospital following an accident in which their vehicle veered off the road and collided with a house in Buca, Savusavu last Sunday morning. Acting Divisional Police Commander North, Superintendent of Police Eroni Soqosoqo, reported that the driver and two other passengers were initially transported to Savusavu Subdivisional Hospital after the incident.
Fortunately, the driver and one passenger received treatment and were later discharged. However, one individual required additional medical attention and was referred to Labasa Hospital. Remarkably, there were no injuries reported from the house that was struck by the vehicle.
Police officers promptly arrived at the scene to provide assistance to those affected by the accident, emphasizing their commitment to public safety.
