A passenger was taken to Labasa Hospital following an accident that occurred last Sunday in Buca, Savusavu, when the vehicle they were riding in went off the road and struck a house.
According to Superintendent of Police Eroni Soqosoqo, the vehicle’s driver and two passengers were initially transported to Savusavu Subdivisional Hospital right after the incident, which took place in the early morning hours. He reported that while the driver and one passenger received treatment and were later discharged, the third passenger required more extensive medical care and was sent to Labasa Hospital.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from inside the house that was impacted by the vehicle. Police arrived promptly at the scene to offer assistance to the victims.
