The Mick’s Fiji Tours & Transfers Vatulele 7s, a much-anticipated two-day rugby sevens tournament held at the Vatulele District School ground, concluded successfully yesterday. Tournament director Vilive Qionikorolevu extended his heartfelt thanks to all stakeholders for their contributions to the event’s accomplishment.
Qionikorolevu expressed his gratitude by saying, “I would like to thank the Lord for the successful running of the Vatulele 7s. I’m very happy and I would like to thank all the teams that travelled from Viti Levu to participate.” This year’s tournament aimed to raise funds for a new walkway at the Vatulele District School, an initiative driven by both Qionikorolevu and tournament treasurer Asesela Naborisi.
