The USA All-Stars earned a vital three points in the Flick Hygiene Pacific Community Cup with a narrow 1-0 victory over the NZFFI Auckland All-Stars during Day Two of the competition held at Churchill Park.
The match was intensely contested, with both teams unable to find the back of the net in the first half, which ended in a scoreless draw after 30 minutes of action. However, the USA All-Stars came back stronger in the second half, where Javies Mariana scored the winning goal in the 35th minute. Labasa FC will clash with the NZFFI Auckland All-Stars at 5:30 PM, and the day wraps up with Lautoka FC taking on the AuFFI Australia All-Stars at 6:45 PM. The tournament will culminate with the finals tomorrow.
