Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown for today, November 25, to conduct urgent maintenance on power lines. The outages are weather-dependent and will occur in several regions.
In Labasa, power will be unavailable from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in areas including Naduna, Nagigi No.11, Nagigi Primary School, and along Waigele Airport Road from Wailevu Village Junction to Wailevu Solove Junction. Additionally, Wailevu Solove, Gopis Minimart, Diagnostic and Specialist Medical Wailevu Centre, Tee Mariners Shop, and Smile Stores investment will also be affected.
In Nasese, power will be cut from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, impacting the entirety of Domain Road, Allardyce Road, Jackson Street, Mahatey Drive, Barton Place, Imthurn Road, Seymour Drive, O’Brien Road, as well as the Pacific Islands Development Forum, Walesi Head Office, South Point Lodge, Royal British Legion Community, Live and Learn Fiji, and Berkley Crescent.
Savusavu will experience a power outage from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, affecting areas such as Nacekoro and Tavulomo.
In Nadi, power will be suspended from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the entire Nawaka area, Nawaka Village, parts of Kerebula, Alla Dutta Road, Lolobalavu Reservoir, Taci, Vatutu Village, Togo Lavusa Road, Togo Bhartiya School, and Naicaracara also experiencing shutdowns.
