Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) has announced a scheduled power outage for today, November 25, to conduct urgent maintenance on power lines. This temporary shutdown is weather-dependent and will impact several regions throughout the day.
In Labasa, residents can expect a power interruption from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM. Affected areas include Naduna, Nagigi No.11, Nagigi Primary School, parts of Waigele Airport Road stretching from Wailevu Village Junction to Wailevu Solove Junction, as well as Wailevu Solove, Gopis Minimart, Diagnostic and Specialist Medical Wailevu Centre, Tee Mariners Shop, and Smile Stores.
In Nasese, power will be out from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, affecting locations such as Whole of Domain Road, Allardyce Road, Jackson Street, Mahatey Drive, Barton Place, Imthurn Road, Seymour Drive, O’Brien Road, as well as several institutions including Pacific Islands Development Forum, Walesi Head Office, South Point Lodge, Royal British Legion Community, Live and Learn Fiji, and Berkley Crescent.
In Savusavu, the outage will occur from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, affecting areas like Nacekoro and Tavulomo.
In Nadi, power will be shut off from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, which will impact Nawaka Village, parts of Kerebula, Alla Dutta Road, Lolobalavu Reservoir, Taci, Vatutu Village, Togo Lavusa Road, Togo Bhartiya School, and Naicaracara.
