Families residing in Lovu Seaside and Tore Settlement in Lautoka have been urged to evacuate to safer, elevated areas due to ongoing heavy rain that is impacting many regions in the Western Division. Residents have been advised to relocate to Lovu Sangam Primary School, which is being established as an evacuation shelter.
So far, ten individuals have been relocated by police, with additional relocations anticipated as the weather conditions continue to pose risks.
