Authored by renowned rugby commentator Greg Clark and experienced sports journalist Norman Tasker, the book is titled “The Rise of the Drua – How A Rugby Dream Captivated A Nation.” It offers an engaging account of the club’s inspiring journey over the past 25 years.
“The Rise of the Drua” chronicles the formation of the team during the peak of the COVID crisis and its impressive progress in Super Rugby Pacific. The narrative highlights the challenges faced by the club, its players, and staff as they navigated relocations and ultimately returned to Fiji.
The book serves as a homage to the players, coaches, staff, sponsors, and devoted fans who have contributed to the Drua’s rapid rise as one of the most cherished teams in the league.
