The Fijian Drua is making headlines once again with the launch of a new book that tells the story of how the club was formed. Authored by well-known rugby commentator Greg Clark and seasoned sports writer Norman Tasker, the book titled “The Rise of the Drua – How A Rugby Dream Captivated A Nation” provides an in-depth look at the club’s inspiring journey over the past 25 years.

“The Rise of the Drua” details the team’s formation amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and their extraordinary rise in Super Rugby Pacific. The book highlights the various challenges faced by the club, its players, and staff, including frequent relocations, as they ultimately returned to their roots in Fiji.

This publication pays homage to the players, coaches, staff, sponsors, and dedicated fans who have helped make the Drua one of the most popular teams in the league in a short period. It encapsulates their journey filled with passion, perseverance, and pride, featuring exclusive interviews, revealing insights, never-before-seen photographs, and behind-the-scenes stories.
