Authored by prominent rugby commentator Greg Clark and seasoned sports journalist Norman Tasker, the book, titled “The Rise of the Drua – How A Rugby Dream Captivated A Nation,” provides an in-depth look at the inspiring saga that spans approximately 25 years.
“The Rise of the Drua” details how the team was formed during the challenging period of the COVID pandemic and highlights its impressive progress in Super Rugby Pacific. It reflects on the challenges faced by the club, players, and staff as they navigated relocations and ultimately returned to Fiji.
From its formation to its recent achievements, this book honors the players, coaches, staff, sponsors, and the passionate fans who have quickly made the Drua one of the most beloved teams in the league.
The narrative captures the dedication, resilience, and pride driving their path, featuring exclusive interviews, compelling insights, previously unseen photos, and behind-the-scenes stories that vividly portray the Drua’s journey.
