Authored by prominent rugby commentator Greg Clark and experienced sports journalist Norman Tasker, the book titled “The Rise of the Drua – How A Rugby Dream Captivated A Nation” provides fans with an in-depth look at the club’s inspirational story spanning 25 years.

This publication narrates how the Drua team was formed amid the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and highlights their remarkable success in Super Rugby Pacific. It details the challenges faced both on and off the field as the club, players, and staff frequently relocated before finally returning to Fiji.

From its inception to celebrated moments on the field, the book pays homage to everyone associated with the Drua, including players, coaches, staff, sponsors, and passionate fans who have quickly made the team a favorite in the competition.

The narrative showcases the determination, resilience, and pride that have propelled their journey through exclusive interviews, significant revelations, previously unseen photographs, and behind-the-scenes stories that vividly recount the Drua’s experience.

Mark Evans, the chief executive officer of Fijian Drua, emphasized that the book serves as a documented account of the team’s journey through their peaks and valleys.
