Written by prominent rugby commentator Greg Clark and experienced sports journalist Norman Tasker, the book, titled “The Rise of the Drua – How A Rugby Dream Captivated A Nation,” provides fans and readers with an inside perspective on the club’s 25-year journey.
The narrative details the team’s formation amid the COVID-19 pandemic and its impressive rise within the Super Rugby Pacific league. It explores the challenges faced by the club, players, and staff as they navigated relocations and eventually returned to Fiji.
Spanning the team’s early days to its celebrated achievements, the book honors the individuals and groups that have contributed to the Drua’s growing popularity, from players and coaches to sponsors and devoted fans.
