Applications for admission to Semester 1, 2025, at the Fiji National University (FNU) College of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences (CMNHS) are now open. The college is inviting prospective students to apply for various programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels in the healthcare field.
Dr. Amelia Turagabeci, the Acting Dean of CMNHS, emphasized FNU’s commitment to equipping students with the necessary tools for success. She stated that applications are officially welcomed and that while the admissions committee reviews submissions, students can begin their enrollment process.
Dr. Turagabeci also noted that in previous years, late enrollment resulted in qualified candidates missing out on their preferred programs. Thus, it is advised for students to complete the enrollment process within the specified timeline to avoid disappointment.
The primary objective of CMNHS is to train highly capable medical professionals who can significantly enhance Fiji’s healthcare system. The college provides an extensive curriculum to furnish students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for their future careers.
Expressing enthusiasm, Dr. Turagabeci remarked, “We are excited to welcome the next generation of healthcare leaders to CMNHS,” adding that the programs aim to produce graduates who possess both academic qualifications and a deep commitment to community service.
