The Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service (TSLS) has announced the opening of registration for the 2025 academic year Fiji Government scholarships as of December 2nd. Potential applicants are encouraged to register and those already registered must upload their Year 13 examination results alongside the final offer letter from their preferred Tertiary Education Institution (TEI). It’s important to note that applications cannot be assessed with provisional offer letters.
Avinay Kumar, the Acting Chief Executive Officer, emphasizes that students should register as soon as possible, particularly Year 13 students from 2024, since some scholarships have limited availability and will close on January 31, 2024. To ensure a smooth process, applicants should complete and submit their applications promptly, which will then be evaluated based on eligibility criteria.
Candidates will receive notification of their application outcomes via the email used for registration, and can also check their application status online through the TSLS portal. TSLS advises students to thoughtfully choose their academic programs by considering job market opportunities.
This initiative not only empowers students in their educational pursuits but also prepares them for future career success in a competitive job market. It presents a hopeful opportunity for many young individuals looking to advance their education and secure a promising future.
