The Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service (TSLS) has announced that registration for the Fiji Government scholarships for the academic year 2025 has officially opened as of the 2nd of this month, coinciding with the release of Year 13 Examination Results.
Potential applicants who have already begun the registration process are advised to upload their Year 13 examination results, along with the final offer letter from their chosen Tertiary Education Institution (TEI). It is important to note that applications will not be assessed based on provisional offer letters.
Avinay Kumar, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of TSLS, emphasized that students who have not yet registered should do so promptly, as the application period will close on January 31 of next year. The organization encourages Year 13 students of 2024 to apply as soon as possible since some scholarships have limited availability.
Once an application is submitted, it will undergo processing and be assessed against the relevant eligibility requirements. Applicants will be notified of the outcome through the email provided during registration, and they can also track their application status via the TSLS Online Application Portal.
TSLS advises students to make informed choices when selecting their academic programs by considering the current job market and the availability of opportunities after graduation.
This announcement is a great opportunity for students to secure funding for their future education, encouraging careful planning and decision-making to align their academic pursuits with career prospects.
Overall, this initiative reflects a commitment to supporting education in Fiji and ensures that students are equipped to succeed in their chosen fields.
