Residential land lots in Covata, Labasa, developed by the Housing Authority of Fiji (HA), are currently available for sale. The prices range from $70,000 to $130,000, with lot sizes varying between 250 and 600 square meters.
The HA announced a call for expressions of interest (EOI) for the remaining 50 percent of residential lots in this area, emphasizing the opportunity to secure a dream home in a thriving community in the Northern Division.
According to Ritesh Singh, HA’s CEO, these lots are ideally located just 10 minutes from the center of Labasa and are close to essential amenities like schools and shops. He encourages individuals who are looking to retire in Labasa, as well as young professionals starting their careers, to consider this investment opportunity for their future homes.
The site is fully equipped with streetlights, footpaths, green spaces, water and sewer connections, and underground power supply.
To apply for a residential lot, applicants must be first-time homeowners, Fiji citizens, and have an annual household income of $50,000 or less. They should also be at least 18 years old and be able to purchase the land and construct a house.
Expressions of interest can be submitted online through the Authority’s Customer Portal, with all required documentation. The deadline for submissions is approaching, as the EOI offer closes on Monday.
