UNDP and Fiji Join Forces for Sustainable Tourism Growth!

The Fijian Cabinet has given the green light to enter into a Letter of Agreement with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as part of the Governance for Resilient Development in the Pacific Project (Gov4Res).

This agreement will enable the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation to obtain essential human resource support from the UNDP through the Gov4Res initiative.

The collaboration aims to facilitate the implementation of significant projects, including the Pilot Tourism Micro and Small Enterprises Fund and the Vanua Levu Tourism Development Programme.

This partnership underscores a shared commitment to promoting resilient development throughout the Pacific, specifically focusing on bolstering small businesses and fostering sustainable tourism growth.
