The U18 rugby team of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School has triumphed over Suva Grammar School in the Deans Trophy semi-final round of the Southern Zone.
Despite being hindered by a red card and a sinbin, MGM secured a victory over SGS with a score of 27-22 at full time.
Suva Grammar School also received a sinbin card.
With this win, MGM advances to the national quarter-finals, while Grammar will need to go through the play-offs to qualify.
The second semi-final between Marist Brothers High School and Nasinu Secondary School is set to begin shortly.
