The draws for the Vodafone Deans Trophy Under-18 national quarterfinals have been confirmed for this Saturday, with no changes to the schedule. Biu Colati, the competition director and representative of the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union, communicated this information during an interview with SUNsports.
Colati stated, “As of now, it is final, but if there are any changes, we will notify.” The quarterfinals will feature the top eight schools competing for four spots in the semifinals.
He noted that weather has become a concern as Suva has experienced rain in recent days. “We will meet this afternoon to discuss the status of the grounds and other related issues,” Colati mentioned.
Regarding a viral video of the Bucalevu Secondary School Under-16 team, he refrained from commenting until the matter is finalized. “The meeting is scheduled for Monday night where we will address the issue and emphasize the necessities for the Deans and Raluve finals,” he added.
