The victim, identified as Shalvin Lal from Tuatua, Labasa, left his guardian’s home shortly after midnight to collect his uncle. The incident occurred in Naduna after 1 am, when the nephew allegedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and strike a culvert.
