The Fijian Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration, Pio Tikoduadua, has announced the initiation of deportation proceedings against two British nationals, Bonnie Blue and Anne Knight, who are involved in the adult film industry. Reports indicate that the Fiji Police Force and Immigration Officers are currently en route to a hotel in Nadi to carry out the removal of Blue, who arrived in the country on a visitor permit on Sunday but has allegedly violated the terms of her stay.

Both individuals have been classified as prohibited immigrants by the Minister, along with a camera operator. The duo has previously been banned from entering Australia, raising concerns for Fijian authorities following accusations that they intended to engage in sexual activities with young men during the Australian ‘schoolies’ celebrations, allegedly offering their services in exchange for filming content for social media platforms.

Minister Tikoduadua emphasized that the Ministry is dedicated to ensuring that the deportation process is executed swiftly and in accordance with legal procedures. He reiterated Fiji’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of its immigration system while welcoming visitors, noting that any breaches would be dealt with promptly to safeguard the nation’s interests.

In response to the situation, the British High Commission has been contacted for further comments, highlighting the international implications of this incident and the importance of addressing concerns related to immigration policies.

This incident serves as a reminder of the responsibilities that come with travel and the significance of adhering to local laws and regulations. It showcases Fiji’s determination to uphold its legal standards while continuing to welcome respectful and compliant tourists.
