The Marist Storm and MGM Dragons have secured their places in the U15 final of the Vodafone Fiji Secondary School Rugby League Championship, which will be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi next Saturday. Both squads triumphed in their semi-final matches at Garvey Park in Tavua, with Marist narrowly defeating Central College Lautoka 16-14, and MGM overcoming Sigatoka Methodist High School with a score of 16-6.

Marist Storm entered the semi-final with a solid first half, accumulating a 16-0 lead by halftime through tries scored by Apenisa Naigulevu, Jo Naqicatabu, and Waisale Bakalevu, with Eric Robanakadavu converting two of them. However, Central College Lautoka responded fiercely in the second half, scoring three quick tries to close the gap to just two points. Despite the pressure in the final moments, Marist held on for the win. Team captain Rodriguez Young commended his teammates for their resilience and credited their supporters and coaching staff for their unwavering support during challenging times.

In the second semi-final, MGM Dragons found themselves tied at 6-6 with Sigatoka Methodist at halftime after both teams scored and converted a try. MGM returned with renewed strength in the second half, scoring two tries and successfully converting one, securing their victory and a spot in the final.
