Two educators have been charged following an incident involving a student from Queen Victoria School. The individuals, aged 45 and 26, were taken into custody and questioned before being officially charged with one count each of criminal recklessness and negligence under Section 268 of the Crimes Act 2009.
Following their arrest, both teachers have been released on bail and are scheduled to appear in court on March 19, 2026. This case has raised concerns about safety within educational settings and the responsibilities of school staff toward their students.
