Twin sisters Honglin Patrica Fong and Michell Lyka Fong are setting their sights on a future in nursing after graduating from Year 13 at Sacred Heart College this past Wednesday. At 19 years old, the identical twins reflect on a transformative five-year journey at the school, emphasizing the significance of teamwork and trust in overcoming challenges.
Honglin shared that their experience has taught them the power of collaboration, stating, “We have to learn that teamwork is what defines us.” Driven by a shared passion for nursing, they express deep gratitude towards everyone who contributed to their high school success.
The twins attribute a portion of their achievements to their faith, with Honglin noting the role of prayer in reaching their academic goals. “As we leave the school, we have come to realize that setting goals is important, achieving them is a blessing,” she remarked.
Inspiring others, she encourages those who look up to them to persist in their endeavors, advising, “Never give up and always put God first in everything.”
As the twins embark on their nursing aspirations, their journey serves as a shining example of determination, support, and faith in achieving one’s dreams—a hopeful reminder that with hard work and belief, anything is possible.
