Twelve Clubs Vie for Fiji’s NCC 2025 Finals in Zone Showdowns

Twelve teams have been confirmed to compete in the Dayal’s Sawmillers National Club Championship (NCC) 2025 zonal competition, ramping up the excitement as clubs vie for a coveted place in the national finals scheduled for next month.

In the Northern Division, defending champions Northpole FC from Labasa will face off against Taveuni’s Legends FC in a crucial play-off match set for December 6 at Bocalevu Primary School. The victor will secure the sole Northern Zone representative in the finals.

The Southern Division will feature a total of six teams divided into two groups. Group A includes Friends United FC, Lami Rangers FC, and Narere Buses Combine FC, while Group B comprises Combine Verata FC, League FC, and Police FC. The winners from each group will automatically qualify for the finals, while the second-place teams will have a chance to compete for the zone’s third representative.

Matches for the Southern Division will take place from December 5 to 8 at the Fiji FA Academy in Vatuwaqa. The Western Division will showcase a round-robin format with Ba’s 4R FC, Lautoka’s Ray United FC, Nadi’s Army FC, and Nadroga’s Downtown FC competing from December 4 to 7 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba. The top two teams from this division will advance to the final play-offs, which are scheduled for December 11 to 14 at a venue yet to be confirmed.

This year’s championship not only promises exhilarating football matches but also strengthens community spirit as local clubs rally their supporters.
