Truck Collision Near Sigatoka: Miraculous Escape for Five

Five men narrowly avoided serious injuries in an accident involving two trucks on Queens Road near Emuri in Sigatoka yesterday. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana, one driver reportedly lost control of his truck, causing it to cross into the opposite lane and collide head-on with another vehicle. The second vehicle was being driven by a 44-year-old man, who had three passengers with him at the time. Both drivers remain hospitalized at Lautoka Hospital, while the three passengers have been treated and released. Authorities confirmed that there were no fatalities.
