At just 18 years old, Esther dedicated her remarkable academic success to her late mother, who passed away from bone cancer the previous year, just before her Year 12 Fiji School Leaving Certificate exams.
Overwhelmed with emotion during the announcement of her dux status, Esther reflected on the difficulties she faced while trying to balance her studies and responsibilities amidst personal loss. “It was quite hard for the four of us (siblings),” she shared, expressing gratitude for the support of her family during this trying time.

As the family prepares to relocate to a new home in Koronivia, Esther is excited to pursue a career in the medical field, weighing her options between nursing and dental care.
