His journey to success, highlighted during the graduation ceremony at Kshatriya Hall in Labasa, is a testament to his determination and the support he received from his family.
Struggling with kyphosis, a spinal disorder that has affected him for over a decade, Mr. Ravula faced challenges in social settings. Yet, he found solace and motivation in a Bible verse, which kept him focused on his goals. “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me,” he shared, emphasizing how his faith has guided him during tough times.
At 20 years old, Mr. Ravula is the first in his family to obtain a trade certificate in electrical fitting, breaking new ground for future generations. After completing Year 12 at Ahmadiyya Muslim College, he furthered his education at the Naleba Youth Training Centre, where he earned a Certificate in Agriculture with the backing of his mother, who tirelessly supports the family through her farming efforts despite the financial challenges they face.
Encouraged by the potential for a better future, Mr. Ravula took the initiative to enroll in the five-month course available under the Tertiary Education and Loan Scheme. He credited his mother and his faith in God for his achievements, stating, “I encourage young people to never give up, find strength in God and not in drugs or crime.”
Mr. Ravula’s success story serves as an inspiration for others, affirming that with hard work, determination, and faith, anyone can overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams. His message is clear: “God has a plan for everyone,” and he believes that perseverance and good choices are essential for realizing potential.
