Just two days into her hospital placement, she is already actively participating in various hospital activities as part of her academic program, where she is acquiring valuable hands-on experience in the healthcare field.
Waqaniburotu emphasizes that her dedication extends beyond her hospital responsibilities. She aims to highlight the Northern Division’s beauty and potential. “The Northern Division has so much to offer in terms of natural beauty and cultural heritage,” she remarked.
One of her key objectives is to collaborate with local municipal authorities to discuss and implement strategies for enhancing opportunities in the North. She advocates for the construction of a new port, arguing that it would not only improve logistical connections but also draw more tourists to the region. This increase in tourism could, in turn, generate job opportunities and contribute to boosting the local economy.
