Mark Shaheel Lal has made history in Fiji by publicly declaring himself as living with HIV, the first to do so since 2015. His announcement was made during a World Aids Day celebration in Nadi, where he courageously shared his story. He proudly declared himself the first Indian gay man in his community to come out as HIV positive, emphasizing that his diagnosis does not define him.
