Tragic Yacht Explosion Claims Young Life in Fiji

A man in his 20s has died from burns he suffered in a fire while working on a yacht in Nadi, according to the Fiji Police Force. The incident occurred on Monday when the man was performing maintenance on a yacht in Denarau along with a 24-year-old colleague. It is reported that an explosion occurred in the engine compartment, leading to burns for both men. They were quickly transported to Nadi Hospital and subsequently moved to Lautoka Aspen Hospital, where the man succumbed to his injuries last night. The 24-year-old colleague is currently in critical condition. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
