An 80-year-old man tragically lost his life in a vehicular accident in Wainadoi, Navua, following a collision between two cars. The incident transpired when both drivers tried to overtake each other at the same time, leading to their vehicles veering off the road and ending up in a ditch.
Emergency services quickly took the deceased, a resident of Suva, to Navua Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead. The other driver involved in the accident is reported to be in stable condition.
