A man is believed to be the latest road fatality in the country after an accident in Nasinu yesterday. Director Traffic Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana reported that the victim allegedly crossed the road unexpectedly at the Laqere Bridge in the afternoon and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old man. The victim was taken to the Valelevu Health Centre but was tragically pronounced dead upon arrival. SSP Divuana mentioned that investigations are ongoing, and the driver will be questioned after the post-mortem examination is completed.
