A man is believed to be the latest victim of a road accident in Nasinu that occurred yesterday. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana, the victim reportedly crossed the road unexpectedly at the Laqere Bridge in the afternoon and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old man. The victim was taken to Valelevu Health Centre but was pronounced dead upon arrival. SSP Divuana stated that investigations are ongoing, and the driver will be interviewed following the post-mortem examination.
