Tragic Road Incident Claims Another Life in Nasinu

A man is believed to be the latest victim of a road fatality following an incident in Nasinu yesterday. In a statement, Director Traffic Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana reported that the victim reportedly crossed the road unexpectedly at Laqere Bridge in the afternoon and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old man. SSP Divuana noted that the victim was taken to the Valelevu Health Centre, where he was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival. Investigations are ongoing, and the driver is expected to be questioned after the post-mortem examination is completed.
