A man is believed to be the latest road traffic fatality in the country following an accident in Nasinu yesterday. According to Senior Superintendent of Police Mitieli Divuana, the victim reportedly crossed the road unexpectedly at the Laqere Bridge in the afternoon and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old man. The victim was quickly taken to the Valelevu Health Centre, where he was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival. Investigations are ongoing, and the driver will be interviewed following the completion of the post-mortem examination.
