Tragic Road Accident Claims Latest Victim in Nasinu

A man is believed to be the latest victim of a road fatality following an accident in Nasinu yesterday. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana, the incident occurred when the victim allegedly crossed the street unexpectedly at the Laqere Bridge in the afternoon and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old man. The victim was quickly taken to the Valelevu Health Centre, where he was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival. SSP Divuana stated that investigations are ongoing, and the driver will be questioned after the post-mortem examination is completed.
