Tragic Road Accident Claims Another Life in Nasinu

A man is believed to be the latest road fatality in the country following an incident in Nasinu yesterday. The Director of Traffic, Senior Superintendent of Police Mitieli Divuana, reported that the victim, in his 40s, allegedly crossed the road unexpectedly at Laqere Bridge yesterday afternoon and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old man. SSP Divuana mentioned that the victim was taken to the Valelevu Health Centre, where he was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival. Investigations are ongoing, and the driver will be questioned after the post-mortem examination is completed.
