Tragically, 11-year-old Roger Qoro lost his life on New Year’s Day after being thrown from a moving vehicle, leaving his family in deep sorrow. Known for his exceptional talent and vibrant aspirations, Roger’s untimely death in a vehicle accident has sparked an investigation by the police.

The incident occurred while Roger was traveling with friends in the back of a carrier truck along Natadola. The vehicle hit a pothole, causing him to be ejected from the truck and fall onto the road. Despite being rushed to Sigatoka Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries soon after.

Roger’s father, Roger Qoro Sr., expressed the profound impact of this loss, saying it has rendered the beginning of the year devastating. He shared fond memories of his son’s dreams, which included a desire to become an aircraft engineer and aspirations in sports, particularly rugby.
