Raiwaqa Police are conducting an investigation into the death of a woman, who reportedly sustained serious injuries inflicted by her partner.
The incident took place on Nailuva Road yesterday afternoon, prompting a call to the police after the victim was discovered unresponsive inside the residence.
Preliminary details indicate that the couple had engaged in a fierce argument, during which the suspect allegedly used an object to assault the victim, leading to her demise.
A woman residing with the couple shared the details of the incident with her partner, who subsequently filed a report with authorities.
The suspect has since fled the scene, and police are actively searching for him.
