Raiwaqa Police are investigating the death of a woman who was reportedly seriously injured by her partner.
The incident took place yesterday afternoon on Nailuva Road, leading to the victim being discovered motionless inside her home.
According to initial reports, a heated argument between the couple escalated, resulting in the suspect allegedly striking the victim with an object, which ultimately led to her death.
Another woman residing with the couple informed her partner about the incident, prompting a report to law enforcement.
The suspect has since fled the scene, and police are actively searching for him.
Investigations are ongoing, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
