Police in Koronubu have announced the identification of a victim involved in an alleged hit-and-run incident that occurred over the weekend. The victim, who resided in Suva, was visiting relatives in Koronubu at the time of the incident.

According to a police statement, a vehicle believed to be involved in the accident has been seized for examination, and the vehicle’s owner is expected to be questioned shortly. As part of the ongoing investigation, forensic tests will be carried out on the vehicle. Additionally, the post mortem examination of the victim is scheduled for Thursday, June 5, 2025.
