A tragic road accident has claimed the life of a 62-year-old man in Sigatoka. The incident occurred around 1:00 AM this morning when the driver lost control of his vehicle on the Queens Road at Koromumu, crashing into the railings.
A passing motorist noticed the stationary vehicle and stopped to investigate, only to discover that the driver was unresponsive. Emergency services were called, and the man was transported to Sigatoka Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival.
