Tragic Drowning Incident Shocks Family During Mussel Diving Trip

A 58-year-old man reportedly drowned while diving for freshwater mussels with his family in the Nakadi River in Baulevu, Nausori, yesterday afternoon. The incident occurred shortly after 1 PM. When he was noticed missing, a search operation was launched, and his body was later found floating a few meters downstream. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and his body was taken to the Nausori Health Centre.
