A one-year-old child has tragically become the latest drowning victim in Fiji. The incident occurred in Galoa village when the child was found floating near the shore on Tuesday. Despite immediate efforts to revive him, they were unsuccessful.

According to reports, the child was with an older sibling when he wandered out towards the sea, leading to this unfortunate accident. Authorities are now conducting an investigation that will assess potential negligence surrounding the incident.
