Tragic Diving Incident Claims Life in Fiji River

A 58-year-old man reportedly drowned while diving for freshwater mussels with his family in the Nakadi River in Baulevu, Nausori, yesterday afternoon. The incident occurred shortly after 1 PM. When family members realized he was missing, a search was initiated, and his body was later found floating a short distance downstream. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and his body was taken to the Nausori Health Centre.
