A 58-year-old man reportedly drowned while diving for freshwater mussels with his family in the Nakadi River in Baulevu, Nausori yesterday. The tragic event occurred shortly after 1 p.m. When he was found missing, a search operation was initiated, and his body was located floating just a few meters downstream. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and his remains were taken to the Nausori Health Centre.
