The lifeless body of a newborn was discovered floating near the Abaca bridge in Lautoka yesterday. A 43-year-old man made the grim find and reported it to the authorities.
Following the discovery, the police performed the necessary procedure to recover the infant’s remains, which have since been taken to the Lautoka Aspen Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
