Authorities are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male inmate at the Natabua Prison in Lautoka, Fiji. Assistant Commissioner of Police Crime, Mesake Waqa, has stated that the matter was reported to the Lautoka Police Station and a formal investigation is now underway. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to ascertain the cause of death. The deceased inmate, originally from Rakiraki, was incarcerated on theft charges.
